Customer Review

Having ridden a carbon racing bike for the last few seasons racing and having owned a titanium bike for training for 3 years I felt the need for a change of race bike having never really liked the ride of carbon. After much research on titanium frame manufacturers, considering spec, price and other peoples reviews I decided to contact Justin, all i can say in this day of poor customer service I was made feel like a king. I would have no hesitation in recomending him to anybody, from initial design to delivery (which was spot on time) it was truly excellent. I knew pretty much what frame geometry i wanted but Justin's suggestions were great and it was really nice to have a choice of tube profiles. All this makes the bike fit like a glove.

Anyway, when I got the bike, I built it up with Campagnolo Chorus groupset from about 2005 and Stronglight Pulsion carbon cranks, Time Avanti stiff full carbon fork with either Mavic Ksyrium or Zipp 404 depending on Irish road conditions. Raced it two days after building, still tinkering about with set up, but straight out of the box it was stiff, lively, very comfortable and most importantly very very fast with that magical ride quality that only titanium can offer.

Most people who look at it think its a great looking bike but imagine it must be very heavy, until they pick it up, every bit as light as Cervelo Soloist with similar components. With Zipps it weights about 7.4kg which is plenty light enough for most road conditions.

Besides the excellent price this must be one of the best bikes available for anybody who races or just enjoys a sportive. Titanium is like steel only better, it really is a life-time frame which is worth replacing components on, not like many of todays aluminium or carbon frames which after 4-5 years are at the end of their usefull life.

Climbs great, sprints great, roll on 2009.
