I have not got back to you to let you know how the bike is going...

It is very (very) nice and I am having good fun. So far close to 1,000 miles which is not bad for the time of year. I am looking forward to my first 100 mile fixie day. The bike has achieved what I wanted - something really special that cannot be achieved from a stock bike.

The is a couple of pictures attached. Let me know if you want others.

First impressions is that the bike is very light, 7.75 kg all in - including heavy winter tyres. Feels light and nimble to ride. Planted on the road but also responsive. The best bit is when you put your foot down and feel the power going directly into acceleration with nothing holding back.

I have fitted out with SRAM Omnium Cranks, SRAM brakes. FSA carbon seat post and stem and bars. Fizik Aliante saddle. Hand built wheels from Strada http://www.stradawheels.co.uk/ (Paul Components Track Hubs, H Plus Son Archetype rims, Sapim Race Spokes).

The only thing I would change is to lower the rear break mount by a few mm as I am having to use a deep drop rear brake to allow enough adjustment for different track cog sizes.
